Hank and Eugenia Willits My wife Eugenia and I live in a beautiful cottage in Dock Woods Community. After waiting 8½ years for our cottage to become available we can honestly say it was worth the wait. We have met many wonderful people since we moved in June of 2006 and are enjoying the many amenities available to us here, and Eugenia sings in the Dock Woods Chorus, which does special programs for the Christmas and Easter holidays. We have four children, Shirley, Bob, Lois and Glen who are all married and have given us eleven grandchildren. Four of our grandchildren are married and have produced six great-grandchildren. I worked in the Transportation Department of Philadelphia Electric Co (Now PECo Energy) from September, 1964 until December 31, 1994, working in various locations—Main Office Building, Luzerne Service Building, Dungan Service Building, Christian St Service Building, and the Berwyn Transportation Center. There are about 25 men, with whom I worked over a 30 period, that have retired and now get together for dinner four times a year to reminisce about “the good old days.” We are active members of Hilltown Baptist Church and involved in the ministry there. Hilltown is dynamic Bible-preaching church pastored by Dr Jay Burgman. One of our hobbies is traveling and we have been to about forty of the fifty US states and have visited Canada, Bermuda, Spain, Germany and Czech Republic. We have also taken two Caribbean cruises. We go to Kisimmee Fl every year for eight weeks in January and February. Last year we drove out west and visited Texas (we went to Fellowship Church in Gravevine TX, and visited the Alamo in San Antonio as well as other areas of Texas), we also went to Santa Fe and the White Sands National Monument in New Mexico, and we visited friends in Mesa Arizona and did some sightseeing while we were there. I also like fishing, reading and puzzle solving. Some of my favorite authors are John LeCarre, Len Deighton, David McCullough, J.R.R. Tolkein, John MacArthur, John R.W. Stott, and Chuck Swindoll. Eugenia loves gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting and scrapbooking. I am not as nerdie as my son Bob. |
